The theme and full itinerary are still being finalized, but you can expect a weekend filled with meaningful connections, joyful memories, and new experiences. Whether you're a longtime attendee or planning to join us for the first time, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

HOW IT STARTED

The Douglass School Reunion began in 1976 as a way for alumni, faculty, and staff to honor the legacy and lasting impact of Douglass School, which closed in 1971. The school had served as a safe haven and source of pride for its students, and the community was determined to keep its memory alive. The first reunion was such a meaningful and energizing event that it became a tradition. Now held every two years, the reunion continues to bring people together to celebrate the history, unity, and enduring spirit of Douglass School.

Two women share a warm hug during an indoor gathering, one wearing a purple Douglassaires T-shirt and white hat, the other wearing glasses and a green patterned blouse. People are seated at tables in the background.
